Please say special prayers today for Baby Parker whose mom will be induced at 5 pm today.  Pray for a safe delivery and that God will shower His mercy upon the entire family. Thank you prayer warriors!

Mercy Prayers

Please pray for Ethan who was shot in the eye with a bb gun; for Hanna who has a lump on her jaw and for 19 year old Alicia who has melanoma.

Also, please keep Baby Leo in your prayers and my granddaughter Ella Grace. Ella's medication is no longer available and she really needs a miracle! She sees a new doctor on June 18th so we hope to get some answers. God bless you all and thank you for interceding for all these intentions.

Prayers for Repose Souls

We have two urgent requests for prayers for the repose of souls of :

Maria - she died suddenly of a drug overdose. 

Edward - was an alcoholic and died suddenly.

The families of these two souls are begging us for prayers for them, especially the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.  If you can say a chaplet for them, the families would be very grateful. Both of these beautiful souls were in their 30's.

Prayers for Ella

Ella Grace has a rare gastro-intestinal disorder.  Only 200 children a year are diagnosed with this disease. Please pray for Ella Grace and for the doctors who are treating her.  Here is her story.

Mercy Prayers Please!

I have many prayer requests today, some very serious.

Unborn Baby Lake and Baby Parker both have heart defects and will need surgery after birth. Please pray for their healing and for their families, that they remain strong through this very difficult time.

Please pray for 79 year old Emily; she has been evicted from her home.

Tanner, who is a teen, has Cystic Fibrosis and is in need of praye...rs.

Brittany, age 12, is having seizures; family asking for our prayers.

Rachael is addicted to drugs and is have marital problems.

Urgent Prayer Request!

Please pray for an 11 year old boy named Nimthaka who is on life support. He had a brain tumor removed and six more where found. The doctors are performing one more surgery in an attempt to save his life. Please storm heaven with you prayers and place his name on all prayer chains.

Also pray for Ashton who is in Intensive Care.

Prayer for Denise

Hello Prayer Warriors,

Thank you for following our blog!

Please continue prayers for Denise.  She had more surgery to remove cancer from her sinuses.  She is doing well..praise God, but needs your prayer support so she may soon be back to perfect health!

Pray also for Carmen who is dying and for Sr. Julie who has cancer.

Prayers for Olivia

We went to visit a young girl named Olivia who is hospitalized with an infection.  Please pray for her total healing, for she has other health issues.  Pray also for her entire family that God shower His mercy upon them and give them strength.

Please continue to pray for Tripp and his Mom and Dad.  He is still having serious health issues and is in need of lots of prayers.

Urgent prayers for Leena, a young girl in the hospital and doctors are unable to diagnose what is wrong.

They are thinking it may be her heart but are not sure. The family is begging for our prayers. Please storm heaven!

Please pray for the following children:

Baby Noelle is 9 1/2 weeks old and was just diagnosed with leukemia. She is having 10 days of chemotherapy. Please pray for a healing.

Justin is 12 and has intestinal problems since birth. He just had surgery on his bowels and is recovering. Please pray he is healed.

Baby Cooper is a one month old baby with RSV virus. Please pray for him as well.

Please keep 5 year old Tripp in your prayers.  He is still in ICU.

Lord, help me to think more about my neighbors and less about myself. Teach me to love as You loved. Oh most Holy Face of Jesus, we trust in You!

Update on Tripp

Here is the latest update on Tripp:

 

"I know everyone is waiting for an update but I honestly don't know what to say. Last night was all beeps an alarms and people coming in and out. So I finally talked to his ICU dr for just a moment and he just said that Tripp is extremely sick, the infection is very serious and it is life threating. I panicked and couldn't ask anything else. I told him Bill and my family would be here soon and they would ask lots of questions. Only one parent can stay in the room so bill is in the sleep room. Honestly I can not focus this morning or even stay awake. Everything seems to be catching up with me, lack of sleep, stress, the sheer reality of it all... The ICU staff probably think I am a terrible mom but I can't seem to function this morning. Tripp is still heavily sedated so at least he is finally getting some sleep. They just did X-rays and now waiting on getting an echo done. They know something is wrong with his heart and they can't get him warm. I am sure bill will get a more official update but these are just some if the things they have told me this morning. Just breaks my heart. I can't lose my baby. So please pray."

"Please pray pray pray. They are taking him in for emergency surgery to remove the shunt and the pump. He has bacterial meningitis which is very life threatening. He will be back in the icu. Words can't describe what we are feeling except total heartbreak. Please pray. We need everyone of you to pray that he makes it thru this surgery.."

Urgent Prayers

Please pray for a little baby boy Jaron, 1 1/2 yrs old who is in ICU as we speak. He had a heart transplant and his body is now rejecting it, family is asking for urgent prayers. Thank you and God bless!

Giving Up Ourselves for Lent

"But there is another interior way of praying without ceasing, and that is the way of desire. Whatever else you are doing, if you long for that Sabbath, you are not ceasing to pray.  If you do not want to cease praying, do not cease longing. Your unceasing desire is your unceasing voice." ~ St. Augustine

This Lent, walk close to Jesus through prayer.  Ask Him to stay with you and to walk with you.  Ask Him to speak to your heart. Ask Him to teach you how to make loving sacrifices a part of your life...for the rest of your life. Do not cease longing for Jesus and He will become your closest friend.

How about "giving up thinking about ourselves" for Lent?  Whenever we find ourselves thinking about our everyday trials, instead think of God and offer a small prayer that He come more fully into your heart.

Mercy Prayers

Pray for Lenny who is having open heart surgery; his wife is dying.

Give them the strength to persevere Lord, no matter how difficult it may become.

If Jesus Entered Your Boat

Isaiah, Paul and Peter all found themselves in the Divine Presence of Jesus.  Most likely they asked themselves, why me Lord, could You not have found someone else who is more worthy? But the truth of the matter is this...Jesus called them and had a mission for them. 

So Isaiah, Paul and Peter were most grateful that our Lord chose them, although they felt they were not worthy, and they made great efforts to answer God's call to the best of their abilities.

How would we behave if we suddently found ourselves in the Divine Presence of Jesus?  We can answer that question because He is physically present in the Eucharist. Are we truly pious when we receive Him? Do we show our respect as we pass the Holy Tabernacle?

If you were graced to be in the Divine Presence of Jesus and He asked you 'whom shall I send?', what would be your response?

Would it be..."Here I am; send me!"

If you are reading this, then I feel God is calling you to pray for those who are in need.

Please pray for the family of six year old Eva who passed away on Monday. Also, please pray for little two year old Peyton who has a brain tumor and is having daily radiation treatments at Roswell. Mickey is having an MRI today (Thursday); please say a prayer all goes well for him.

If Jesus enters your boat and asks something of you, then He will give you the grace to accomplish it. Unworthy as we all are, God's grace will shine through us!

I pray your response would be, 'here I am Lord!'.

Praised be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all consolation. He comforts us in all our afflictions and thus enables us to comfort those who are in trouble, with the same consolation we have received from him. 2 Cor.1:3-4

Please pray for a young girl named Elizabeth, for a special intention as requested by her family.

The Greatest Gift

In today's second reading, the Corinthians were debating as to which gift from God was the greatest. Was it faith? Was it prophecy? Could it be the gift of speaking in tongues? St. Paul makes it very clear to us...the greatest gift of God is LOVE.

Love is from God and it will never end. The way in which we love one another today, we will also manifest in Heaven.

To love is to pray for those in need:

Please pray for Karen who has severe neck pain. She is taking care of her husband who had two strokes and also is the caretaker for aging family members. She also has an autistic child. The pain she is experiencing is interfering with her ministering to those in need of her help. Please storm Heaven with prayers for her!

I Knew You!

Our Heavenly Father speaks very clearly, "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you..." 

Have you ever thought of what your Divine calling may be?  Of course we are called to love God above all things, to obey His Commandments and to love and serve others for the glory of God. 

But, what else is God asking you to do? What are your gifts and are you using them to glorify God? 

May our hearts feed upon these reflections today as we seek the graces God has planted in our souls.

May we be a bright lamp shing in a dark world.

Please pray for Ben who is going into hospice; pray also for 3 year old Camryn who had a tumor removed from her kidney and for Cathy D. who fell at home.

Please also continue to pray for Denise, Rachel and Ella Grace for total healing.

Prayers for Little Elsie

"How, then, shall we repay the Lord for all His goodness to us?  He is so good that He asks no recompense except our love: that is the only payment He desires." ~ St. Basil the Great

Open our eyes Lord, to see our neighbor as You see them.  Teach us Jesus, to love as You love.

Prayers are needed for little one year old Elsie.  She is desperately waiting for a liver transplant and has currently been hospitalized.  The family is asking us to storm heaven with prayers for their little baby girl.

To love as Jesus loved is to pray and help those in need. This is true love.

Food for Thought

This came from one of our prayer lines and I found it very interesting:

There are times when the gifts we receive by Divine Providence are unmistakable, even for those not accustomed to seeing. We don’t always receive what we ask for, of course. But there is something in the act of asking itself, which, like all the other forms of prayer, properly orients us. It requires self knowledge (we are not God, He is); it involves relationship (we become ourselves through relationships); it anticipates gratitude and nurtures confidence in the God who loves us, and is with us, come what may.

On one of the lesser used pathways down to the Grotto at Lourdes, there is a simple monument donated by a blind Italian woman as an expression of her gratitude. She had come to Lourdes for healing and left still blind – though not unchanged. By the experience. By asking. By seeking and encountering. By learning to trust God. It reads:

Recovering the faith is greater than recovering sight.
